Carolina Vasquez	STREETS TO SEA
Carolina Vasquez is a multi-media artist exploring new technologies and mixing them with more traditional forms of expression. Her desire for inventing imaginary, fantasy worlds is what is repeatedly expressed in her work. The process of invention is integral in her work, as are her narrative explorations and through this she creates and manipulates images. She investigates human behavior and at times personal stories. Currently she is working on a stop motion animation film and a 3d holographic video projection. Carolina Vasquez was born in the Dominican Republic to Dominican and Colombian parents. Shortly after, they all moved and her upbringing was in Miami, where she grew to love the sunshine and beach.
