Line Ellegaard is preoccupied with a questioning of
performance while suggesting her own work bestrides ‘non-performance’. In her
work she imagines a loss of boundary and giving up of autonomy though the use
of performers, costumes and objects.
Recent work has
made itself manifest through markings and embodiment of space. In time -
through remnants, film and photography - the presence of the material
signifies the absence of the event.
Line Ellegaard participates in this show collaboratively with Pernille Leggat Ramfelt.
